The Analysis of the Processes of the Internal Structural Interaction in the Contemporary Visual Art of Ukraine

Abstract

The specific features of the functioning model of the contemporary Ukrainian art since 2000s till nowadays are analyzed in all complexity. The internal structural interaction in this sphere is determined including forms, connection and ways of the communication between the artists and institutions in the local and international context. For the first time the peculiarities of the sharing of the institutional initiatives were studied and analyzed in the topographical and geographical coordinates of the country. The dynamics of functioning and goal making of the regional art operators is uncovered and the specifics of the capital participants of the system is surveyed. The potential of the new self-organizing activities is apprehended as stimulus of the institutional development and creative process within the local context. On the canvas of the art life the new born situations are identified, and they resemble specific autism forms of the existence, in which there are no direct contacts and exits to the public zone. The trend of the isolation that put aside the dictate of the interactivity, involvement and instant engagement of the previous years. The main component of the communicative space is articulated, it a scandal as a variant of the solution of any critical position, conflicts in the creative space. The new moments and approaches of present positioning of the artists intellectuals are formulated, which are not engaged by the art establishment within the frames of the local art system. Symptoms of the development of the official institutional relations are reviewed on the examples of the internal configurations, individual and group contacts, changed forms of the representation of the art product and the potential of the Ukrainian identity on the international art stage. The essential shift in the Ukrainian art field since 2010 was fixed, it was connected to the emergence of the radically new relations, creative disputes, and experimental people initiatives by the young artists, which search for the alternative for the nowadays situation of the infrastructural dictate and undertake the resistance to the total commercialization of the art.
