Abstract

Recent years, marine controlled-source EM (electro magnetic) detection plays a more and more critical role in the marine EM detection, which is a kind of main technology of mapping the mineral distribution under the deep sea. The huge sea areas have vast resources we need, so the necessity of Marine EM detection should get more attentions. Mainly based on the differences of signals that detected from substance under the sea, with a different electric property, the signals are collected by EM induction method. Based on the analysis of many related literatures about current especial research experiments in recent years in many countrys, such as the survey of the Deep San Andreas Fault and North American, Scarborough Gas Field in 2009 and the survey of Gas Hydrate Characterization, Gulf of Mexico in 2008 and so on. Further, this paper contrasts the different purpose of the research experiment and the detail condition and some material parameter of the experiment had taken. At last this paper summarizes the different condition and some parameters along with the research experiments, give some conclusion and propose to the future experiments.
