Abstract
Because of line-to-line inductance and capacitance, overvoltage may occur in single-phase reclosing process when breaker is reclosed on unloaded 220kV long distance transmission line. The paper establishes a model system of single generator to infinite bus power system with PSCAD simulation software, analyzes overvoltage in reclosing operation of 220kV long distance transmission line, studies the influence factors as reclosing phase angle, system equivalent impedance, transmission line parameters etc. It shows that reclosing phase angle and zero sequence line parameters have large effects to overvoltage, as the system equivalent impedance has lower effects.
