Abstract
The article deals with the formation of especially valuable agricultural land as an element of a set of measures - legal, organizational and managerial –for ensuring the efficiency of the use and protection of agricultural land. The most labile criterion for the formation of these zones can be considered "excessive cadastral value." The paper contains the analysis of the quantitative state of land plots of especially valuable productive agricultural lands according to this criterion.
