Abstract

The computer search for information that is published in scientific journals is a progressive although still unrefined method. More advantage should be taken of the enormous storage and sorting capacity of modern computers in order to utilize fully the great number of widely spread scientific publications on specific topics. Since title, author, and reference do not provide sufficient information about content and value of a publication, key words are needed for competent identification of such papers. However, to select efficiently the correct key words not only needs experience in the use of such words but also requires knowledge in the field of the topic published. Thus, the author should propose key words for his publication but the editorial board of the journal must carefully edit this information.
