Abstract

The article continues a series of methodological and linguohistoriographic essays summarizing the achievements of the philological sciences in the study of onymic means that function in literary and artistic spaces. The period of development of onomastics is considered, during which “literary onomastics” was formed as a direction of research, culminating in the formation of independent scientific discipline “Poetonymology”.
