Abstract
AbstractBromination of methyl methacrylate/isoprene copolymers leads to the formation of γ‐lactone rings between adjacent methacrylate and isoprene units. The limiting degrees of hydrolysis of the methacrylate units in the brominated copolymers are less than those in the untreated samples. This, together with other evidence, provides support for the conclusions about the hydrolysis reached in Part 1.
