Abstract
In qualitative systematic analysis Zr, giving the same color by spot test with alizarin-S as Al does, is to be eliminated from the ammonium hydroxide-group. A procedure is described for extraction of Zr from the precipitated hydroxides of Al, Cr, Fe, Mn, and Ti.
