Abstract
The author discusses the Racial and Ethnic Health Care Equity Project, a partnership between Aetna insurance company and the National Dental Association (NDA) to educate non-dental health professionals about the importance of oral health and to create opportunities for medical and dental clinicians to interact with one another in an effort to address oral health disparities in the U.S.
