Abstract
This book is one of the Wykeham Science Series and, like the others, is designed to bridge the gap between the sixth form syllabus and more advanced work. The author looks at the earth's upper atmosphere, taking the tropopause as its lower boundary – the lower atmosphere is the subject of Essentials of Meteorology, an earlier book in the series.
