Abstract

The discussion in this journal on present ideas and available techniques of block adjustment will be finalised in a series of two articles. Part 1 of the present article, which deals with planimetry, discusses some general aspects before proceeding with a detailed account of the theory of the Jerie Analogue Method, the principles of which were first published in “Photogrammetria”. The concluding article deals with the adjustment for height and will be contained in the next issue of “Cartography”.
