Examines the accuracy of the unemployment estimates used by the United States Area Redevelopment Administration for designating redevelopment areas. Description of the formula used by the Bureau of Employment Security (BES); Accuracy of the estimates; Comparison of the estimates from the Bureau of Census with that of BES for a number of labor market areas in Oklahoma; Causes of the differences between the estimates across the entire BES unemployment.
