Abstract

Many IT projects are doomed before the ink is dry on the contract. Others fall prey to troubled project root causes which strike later in the project life-cycle. In this article, drawn from the author's book "Troubled IT projects" (IEE, 2001), the 40 troubled project root causes are exposed. Forewarned is forearmed.
