Abstract
After multiple unsuccessful attempts (or productive failures) to translate the text into video, I broke the text apart into 39 short, distinct clauses and connected them to individual shots from 39 Hitchcock films. I chose Hitchcock because the text explicitly stated that it referred to a film NOT directed by Hitchcock. I was surprised to find, in the process of editing, just how “Hitchcockian” the imagery evoked by the text actually turned out to be.
