Abstract
The 31P NMR spectrum of InP is reported at 137.9 MHz under magic-angle spinning (MAS) conditions. Combined with previous measurements at 81 MHz, a field-independent, approximately Gaussian line of ~4000 Hz width is found. The linewidth is from In-P scalar, electron-coupled ( J) interactions with the spin- 9 2 115In. Using the value of J determined indirectly from previous static sample work, good agreement is obtained with the measured MAS spectrum.
