Abstract
Several geomagnetic surveys were carried out in the region of Germany, although unfortunately, in different epochs and for different districts. Nevertheless it is possible to derive normal field models for different epochs. Final second-order models of the 1992.5 normal field over the area of Germany are represented, based on repeat station surveys carried out in 1964/65 and 1982 in the FRG, in 1990 in the former GDR, and in 1992 across entire Germany.
