Abstract

Green infrastructure investment addresses environmental challenges while promoting economic growth, improving public health and enhancing quality of life. This is a comprehensive development solution that prioritizes environmental sustainability and enhances long-term resilience to climate change in all countries around the world. Using the case study method, the study analyzes and evaluates the green infrastructure investment strategies of European countries, specifically Germany, the Netherlands and Finland. The results of the study show differences in the approach and implementation of green infrastructure development policies in these three countries. On that basis, the author draws lessons from European experience and applies them to Vietnam, explores opportunities and benefits of investing in green infrastructure, and proposes policies for green infrastructure development in Vietnam.
