Abstract

In order to implement inclusive education, the role of the support centers for inclusive education development is extremely important in both performing their functions and tasks, and effectively combining with other educational institutions to achieve the highest goal of supporting people with disabilities to live independently and better integrate into the community. The paper presents the main survey findings on assessing the current situation of the organization and operation of the support centers for inclusive education development, including 1) Organizational structure and employment positions; 2) Inclusive education support activities; 3) Early intervention and special education activities. The evaluation result is an important basis for orienting the document contents of regulating the organization and operation of the support centers for inclusive education development to help the centers well perform their functions and tasks by regulations, and contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of inclusive education.
