Abstract

The article investigates the current situation of the student behavior management capacity of junior high school teachers in Da Nang city. The study was conducted on 490 teachers at 7 secondary schools in Da Nang city on 3 aspects of student behavior management capacity including teacher's perception of student behavior management; student behavior management skills; attitude of teachers in the management of student behavior. The results show that the capacity of junior high school teachers to manage student behavior in Da Nang city is still limited. This result is the basis for proposing measures to improve the behavior management capacity for teachers; thereby improving the quality and effectiveness of teaching and educational activities.
