Abstract

The study of textual cohesion is a recent trend in the linguistic lesson. Recurrence is one of the topics of textual cohesion at the lexical level through which the existence of textual cohesion can be determined through the effect that repetition has on textual cohesion. Studies have been striving to investigate the effect of repetition on textual cohesion through text grammar, so the importance of this study lies in the fact that it made a contribution in this field. This study examines the textual cohesion in Surah Al-Kahf through the element of repetition, as it is one of the prominent aspects of textual cohesion. The study relied on choosing Surah Al-Kahf specifically due to the abundance and variety of repetition found within this surah, encompassing repetition at the level of letters, words, sentences, and entire Quranic verses.
