Abstract
Helen M. Hovenden received her B.S.N. from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. She is currently a student in the M.S.N. program at the University of Texas at Austin. She served as vice chairperson of the Texas Nurses Association Nurse Practitioner Conference Group and as secretary of the ANA Council of Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioners.
