Abstract

The formalism of orthogonal reference frames described by Eisenhart [1] is used to analyze a rotating continuum, the circular motion of a mass point, and a relativistic oscillator from the standpoint of comoving tetrads. It is found that the velocity of the rotating object or of the mass point does not exceed the speed of light in vacuum at any distances from the rotation axis.
