Abstract
In the title compound, [Fe(C6H4NO2)2(H2O)4], the Fe atom lies on an inversion center with a distorted octahedral coordination geometry defined by two N atoms of pyridine rings and four O atoms of water molecules. The crystal structure is stabilized by O—H···O hydrogen bonds involving all water H atoms and the carboxylate groups.
