Representatives at the recent International Conference on Tetanus*from India (Patel of Bombay), Africa (Rey of Dakar, Senegal), South America (Veronesi of São Paulo, Brazil, and Newell of Colombia), and the islands of the South Pacific (Schofield of New Guinea) reaffirmed the worldwide epidemiologic report of Bytchenko from the World Health Organization (WHO) that tetanus neonatorum is still a major problem in several of the large populous countries of the worldãthat thousands...Reference1.
