Abstract

Sixty eight cases of tetanus following chronic otorrhoea treated in Silchar Medical College & Hospital have been studied. The incidence of otogenic tetanus is high (12.5%) and it occurs commonly in paediatric age group. The clinical aspect of these cases are discussed. The mortality of these cases of tetanus following chronic otorrhoea is high.
