Abstract

Gravity measurements made with a LaCoste-Romberg surface-ship gravity meter on board the M.V. Horizon along a 300-mile track off southern California are compared with submarine measurements near the track. The agreement (±5 mgal) is considered to be as close as can be expected from this type of comparison.
