Abstract

Three trials involving men ages 65 and older with low testosterone levels have found that testosterone treatment improved sexual function to a greater degree than it affected physical activity or vitality. The incidence of adverse events did not differ significantly between testosterone and placebo groups, although study authors said the sample size was too small to reach definitive conclusions about risks associated with testosterone treatment.
