Abstract

An engineering implementation of the method for eddy-current testing of the inner diameters of pipes produced of ferromagnetic and austenitic steels is considered. The design of the used eddy-current transducer, the dependence of its signals on the main influencing parameters, the algorithm for the measuring transformation of signals, the block diagram of the testing system, and its calibration technique are described.
