Abstract

Transmission time-of-flight measurements (TOF) for natural hafnium were performed in the energy range from 2 eV to 50 keV at the white neutron source GELINA of the Institute for Reference Materials and Measurements (IRMM) in Geel, Belgium. Experimental transmission data for 77 K and 300 K and for 3 different sample thicknesses are compared to theoretical transmission values. These were obtained using the code CALENDF with input from ENDF/B6.3, JENDL3.2 and JEF2.2.
