Abstract

The current study examined whether demonstration of shorter action sequences with a puppet enhanced 6-month-olds’ recall of target actions and temporal order of events. The results confirmed the expectation that observation of shorter sequences resulted in better deferred imitation of individual target actions compared to longer sequences.
