Abstract

AbstractWith the improvement of fiber optic gyroscope performance and cost reduction, the application of optical fiber inertia group is becoming more and more widespread. In the design process of inertia group, it is often necessary to perform a fast and accurate evaluation of the performance of the optical fiber inertia group. In system integration applications, it is necessary to accurately screen out the inertia group products with suitable performance according to the application scenarios among many existing inertia products. Aiming at the tedious process of the traditional test method of the optical fiber inertia group, which can only obtain the measurement results of discrete conditions, a practical and feasible test method is proposed to comprehensively evaluate the performance of the optical fiber inertia group. This method uses three-axis speed turntable, vehicle and other equipment to construct four test scenarios. The external analysis of position, speed, attitude and other parameters for error analysis provides the accuracy and performance indicators of the optical fiber inertia group position and speed. After actual comparison, the test results of this method can reflect the performance level of the system under test, and can be used as a reference for the performance evaluation and screening of optical fiber inertia groups.KeywordsFiber optic inertial groupIntegrated navigationVehicle experimentPerformance test
