Testing a Framework to Predict the Risk of Lung Pneumonitis after Thoracic Radiotherapy

Abstract

Frameworks that are developed based on a single database need to be tested on external datasets to validate their applicability to a general patient population. Towards that end, in this study we tested a framework to predict the incidence of radiation-induced pneumonitis on an alternate dataset that was independently collected at a different institute.
