Abstract

The treatment of testicular tumours, particularly teratomas, remains controversial. The results of treatment in 146 such tumours treated by surgery and radiotherapy are discussed. A case is made for a selective policy towards retroperitoneal lymph node dissection in teratomatous tumours. Where isolated pulmonary metastases occur, resection of these is well worth while.
