Abstract

Treatment with apholate caused degenerative changes in the testes of albino rats. No histological changes were observed in Leydig cells. LDH-X activity was present in the serum of treated rats and absent in controls. Electrophoresis indicates that the activity band present in serum was similiar to the activity band found in testes. A colorimetric method for assaying LDH-X activity is reported.
