Abstract

Leprosy is a disease that results in various organ impairments, including testicular atrophy. Testicular damage in leprosy causes gynaecomastia, decreased libido, erectile dysfunction (impotence), altered distribution of pubic hair, and infertility. Until now, testicular screening in leprosy patients has not been given special attention by health workers, even by specialists. The aim of this report is to emphasize the importance of testicular screening in leprosy patients.
