Abstract

Script concordance tests (SCTs) represent a realistic and representative means of assessing healthcare professionals’ ability to solve clinical problems in situations of uncertainty. The advantages of SCTs include their reliability, internal validity, and their application across various medical domains. In the field of medical oncology, their use has remained limited to date. The complexity of therapeutic strategy choices in the specific context of locally advanced NSCLC, as illustrated by several recent studies on the reproducibility of MDT decisions, makes this particular theme an ideal application for SCTs. We propose to apply this method during an intervention at the GOLF 2023 conference, which could help better understand the determinants of clinical reasoning and, consequently, improve therapeutic decision-making in the precise management of locally advanced NSCLC.1877-1203/© 2023 SPLF.
