Abstract

Between the pandemic situation triggered in 2020, vaccination emerges as an action of fundamental importance in combating Covid-19. In Brazil, the deconstruction of public health policies over the years, especially after Collor's election in 1989, has heightened the weaknesses in the application of the National Immunization Program which began in 2021, especially regarding the lack of control by the State, as well as increasing the difficulties in complying with previously defined vaccination criteria in complex and diverse territorial spaces like ours.
