Abstract

In this article, the author touches on the problem of the Liancur rocks, which led to territorial violence between South Korea and Japan. It follows the process of its transformation, analyzing the initial, developing and current state of a territorial dispute. Since territorial disputes are characterized by the difficulty of reaching a certain specific solution, it is necessary to recognize that the problem has lasted for many years. It is also necessary to assess the economic importance of the Liancourt Rocks in general, considering that this issue will not be fully completed in the next 10 years. The economic development of the Liancourt Rocks can show that the determination and proof of which of the two parties belongs can show which side the problem will be solved with the victory of which side. However, since South Korea was a colony of the Japanese state before World War II, this issue is closely related to the territorial dispute, and it will undoubtedly come to a certain conclusion only by focusing on other unresolved issues of the Republic of Korea and Japan in resolving the dispute. This article is distinguished by a more detailed and detailed explanation of the problem than the proverbs of the same name, revealing the role of the Liancur rocks in the current economic conflict between South Korea and Japan, and determining its impact on the dispute.
