Abstract

As medical knowledge expands and targeted therapies emerge, there is newfound hope for treating congenital disorders and tumour-related syndromes that so far had been treated with surgeries, resulting temporary relief only. This article presents cutting-edge research and treatments for some of the most complex pediatric skin conditions. We demonstrate the evolving treatment landscape for congenital melanocytic nevi and the latest therapeutic strategies for pediatric melanoma malignum. Additionally, the article shows the most recent therapeutic breakthroughs in addressing vascular, lymphatic malformations, and neurofibromatosis.
