Abstract

The formation and equilibria of the binary and ternary palladium(II) complexes of diethylenetriamine (dien) with other selected amines have been investigated. The results of pH titration measurements allowed the calculation of equilibrium constants, characteristic for the binary and ternary complexes formed. The concentration distribution of various complex species was evaluated and the chelation mode ascertained by conductivity measurements.
