Abstract
A magnetic ionic liquid and magnetic poly(ionic liquid) with Tb(NO3)4− as counteranions are prepared. The resulting M(P)ILs show magnetic and luminescent properties, which are used in droplet manipulation and anti-counterfeiting application.
