Abstract

This study took theory of socio-economic status, stress, negatively culture and delinquency to discuss the factor of delinquency. Then, researcher used Taiwan Education Panel Survey (TEPS) 2005, 2007 parent questionnaire and student questionnaire as research data. The purpose of this study was to explore the factors affected delinquency of senior and vocational high school students in Taiwan. The factors of this study divided into socio-economic status, cramming school, stress perception, and negatively culture. This research employed the descriptive statistics, hierarchical regression analysis and structural equation modeling. The findings were as follows: 1. The higher cramming school and stress conception of senior and vocational high school students in Taiwan had, the more delinquency to arise. 2. Students from vocational high school, studied at private school, and lived in urban areas would increase the frequency of delinquency. 3. Male students with higher stress conception, negatively culture, studied at private school, and lived in urban areas would have more delinquency. 4. Female students with more cramming school, stress conception, negatively culture, studied at private school, and lived in urban areas would have more delinquency. 5. The more negatively culture were influenced, the higher delinquency would arise for senior and vocational high school students.
