Abstract

In the first part the author presents a theoretical definition of the phenomenon of young people and political socialization. And he points out that the various theoretical approaches developed for the study of political socialization. The attention focused on approaches that are aimed at studying the factors that contribute to stability and maintenance of the political system. It especially stresses the importance of the relationship of political culture and socialization, and in that context, consider generational hypothesis and lifecycle hypothesis, and their significance for the study of problems of youth in transitional societies. In the second part of the attention focuses on the question of whether our society on the part of the constitution of the citizen or there is more vassal mentality. These issues associated with the problems of relations between tradition and innovation. At the end of the paper is a list of the basic issues that are important for empirical research on political socialization of youth.
