Abstract

This article analyzes the theory of Willful blindness, origin, development and who its impact on Brazilian law. For this purpose, a comparison is made between this theory in American criminal law and in Brazilian criminal law, with the crime of money laundering as the guiding principle, in particular the issue related to imputation as an eventual fraud.
