Abstract

Almost ten years have passed since the memorable ‘Autumn of Nations’.1 Such concepts as ‘socialist camp’, ‘world revolutionary process’ or ‘directing force’ (that is, the communist party) have faded into history. The Soviet Union no longer exists, the Cold War has ended. The former communist countries have embarked on a course of fundamental changes.
