Abstract

It has been suggested that world peace and the nations of Eastern Europe themselves will be best served if their incorporation into the Soviet orbit becomes more organic than hitherto. Insofar as parallels with nature help in explaining social life, there is much to commend a biotic relationship which implies growth and change rather than the azoic state of the mineral kingdom destined to be the same for millions of years. However, many a species has lost its original characteristics in the battle for survival within the framework of an organic linkage. Many have become extinct.
