Abstract

Introduction: Ten year overall survival (OS) after resection of colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) is reached in about 25% of patients. However, the majority of CRLM patients develop recurrent disease within the liver, for which repeat local treatment (i.e., resection and/or ablation) is frequently performed. This study investigated the probability of ten year OS after local treatment for recurrent CRLM.
