Abstract
AbstractConcurrent engineering (CE) and integrated product teams (IPTs) offer many advantages in product quality and cycle time reductions. Many companies are beginning to organize projects using IPTs, but the transition to CE and IPTs requires implementation details that are not commonly discussed in the literature. This paper covers ten of the most important lessons we have learned in our implementation of CE and IPTs.
