Abstract

Christian Smalls, a major supporter of union organizing efforts at an Amazon warehouse location in New York City, was recently arrested and charged with trespassing, obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. According to the union, Smalls was arrested while attempting to deliver food and union materials to employees at the warehouse. According to Amazon, Smalls had been repeatedly warned not to trespass on Amazon property. Smalls previously worked at the facility until his firing in 2020.
