Abstract
Abstract A novel template-free solvothermal route was successfully designed to fabricate single-crystal vertically aligned CdS nanowire array, and its field emission property for the first time, was studied. The relatively high emission current density and low turn-on field make the CdS nanowire array one of the promising candidates for field-emission display.
